This winter, the quiet village of Schönried – set peacefully above the Gstaad village – will come alive with Peekaboo, a poetic exhibition by UAE-based multi-disciplinary artist Tatiana Ojjeh, whose studio is housed within Dubai’s Sima Collective. Opening on December 24, 2025, at Galerie Im Stöckli, the experience begins when golden light softly glows from the gallery windows, illuminating Ojjeh’s Carrara marble animal sculptures resting within golden straw – an expression of innocence, simplicity, and warmth at the heart of her artistic language.

The exhibition extends beyond the gallery walls: across the street, a serene marble Wise Rabbit awaits. Visitors are invited to leave hand-written notes of hope in The Peekaboo Post located next to the Rabbit, while hidden bronze sculptures are scattered throughout Gstaad offering a trail of quiet discoveries.

Curated by Central Saint Martins alumna Jasmine Cortes, Peekaboo is a tribute
to the region that helped shape her artistic sensibility. Together, Ojjeh and Cortes
have created a serene journey of stillness and wonder.

Galerie Im Stöckli, founded by sisters Elsi and Madeleine Frautschi in 2022, honours Schönried’s visual heritage, making it a fitting home for this meeting of past and present, art and landscape.
